Position Details

• Location: Morton Plant Hospital North Bay, 6600 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652
• Status: Part-Time, 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period
• Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• On Call: Yes

Summary

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
  
  

For this position, we prefer a minimum of two years RN experience. We strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred for this role. This position is Part-Time, set for 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period.

Certifications And Licensures

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Education

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
  
  

Experience

• Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
• Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
