Smoke Evacuation Bill

    We apologize for sending this email to all AORN nurses in FL but we don't have our member list divided up by counties.  

The FNA lobbyist is asking ONLY the nurses in HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY to write to Rep Josie Tomkow as soon as possible and ask her to support the smoke evacuation bill that is currently going through committees in Tallahassee right not.  At this time only a handful of nurses in the county have contacted her and her support is critical in getting the bill heard this session.

    We have been trying for three years to get a bill passed in order to join the other 20 states with this legislation despite the opposition we continue to face.  We are closer than ever and we believe we can get the law put into effect but we need the HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY Nurses to take action now.
